Decommissioning Hershey's Mill Dam

   East Goshen Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania

TSD is working with East Goshen Township to decommission Hershey's Mill Dam and converting it to a nature preserve and community park. The original construction of the dam is reported to have occurred in the late 19th century to support a gristmill. The project involves breaching the existing dam, reconstructing the existing channels by installing step pools and riffle grade control structures, installing an open water offline pond, installing a boardwalk, landscaping, hardscaping and paving. We are excited to be a part of this historic project!

Hoey Guild Running Track

     Newlin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania

TSD is working with a private client to develop a 400 meter running track designed by Beynon Sports. The project consists of extensive earth moving and rock excavation, complex site drainage, StormTank stormwater management facility, curb, and paving. This is a unique project that requires precision and attention to detail.

LCB Senor Living Center

        Lower Merion Township, Montgomery  County, Pennsylvania

TSD is working with Kinsley Construction to develop a new senior living facility in Bala Cynwyd. The project consists of strategically demolishing the existing historical structures and salvaging the stone for reuse. Our scope also includes the installation of three (3) stormwater management facilities, site drainage, sanitary sewer, water, HOP improvements, and overall paving. This project is particularly challenging because of its unique demolition, difficult access, historic gully running through the site, and steep slopes. These are the types of projects that we target because we find them extremely interesting and enjoy doing them, and have been very successful at it.
